ABOUT
I am an art historian and curator based in Vilnius, Lithuania. I hold MA in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies (MODA) from Columbia University. My research concerns postwar European and American art and avant-garde film. Currently, I am completing extensive research on André Cadere (1934-1978) and the art world in the 1970s, coediting a book of essays on Cadere’s work, and preparing the first monograph on the artist. I am also leading a research project on women artists in European neo-avantgarde with a special focus on the intersections of art, new media, and various kinds of technologies (from computer to loom). From 2018 to 2020, I taught classes on Art Since 1960 and Introduction to Contemporary Art and Theory at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. I also curate exhibitions, film programs, and events. I love running.
